"What's new in ixo v1.6 — complete Help & FAQ"

Version 1.6 is all about getting unstuck fast. There's now a complete guide for the editor, searchable in a keystroke, with shortcuts that take you straight to the feature in question.

New

• Help pages (/help and /ru/help). A full user guide for the editor: 11 sections with examples and stitch previews, 20 FAQ entries, and one unified keyboard-shortcut table. Direct URLs — link to specific sections in chat or docs.
• Instant search in Help (⌘K). The search field on the Help page indexes section titles, sub-headings, and FAQ — no network calls. ↑ / ↓ move between results, Enter opens.
• Spotlight tours from Help. Sections on canvas, tools, and palette now include CTAs — "Show fabric card →", "Show palette →", "Run interactive tour" — that open the editor and highlight the relevant element.

Changes

• Beads and tool are now strictly linked. Picking a bead color in the palette automatically switches the tool to "Bead", and selecting a thread color returns to crosses / halves / backstitch. No more accidentally drawing a bead with a cross tool — or a cross with a bead palette.

Fixes

• "Create chart from photo" preview is pinned. When you scroll the settings (presets, sliders, color list), the "Original" and "Result" canvases stay at the top — you can see the output change in real time.
